| Town Ball 20 in FA Cup DrawFriday, 2nd Dec 2016 14:51
Town will be ball number 20 in the draw for the third round of the Emirates FA Cup, which takes place on Monday at 7.10pm live on BBC2 and BT Sport. Steven Gerrard and Ian Wright will be the men charged with picking out the ties at the BT Tower during BT Sport’s coverage of the Oldham Athletic-Lincoln City second round tie. Third round ties will be played between January 6th and 9th. Last season the Blues were beaten at the third round stage by League Two Portsmouth - featuring Adam Webster - after a replay. Town boss Mick McCarthy is yet to win an FA Cup tie as Blues manager. Town's last FA Cup win was the 2-1 victory at Blackpool at the third round stage in January 2010 under Roy Keane’s management. What's the point, unless McCarthy plays a proper team and tries to win the game the club might as well not enter the competition. Whatever happens whoever we get home or away I won't be spending my hard earned cash on a ticket.

Agree with BlueHarwich, we would have to put out a proper team, and they have to give us more tickets than for the league match.

Scum away, and they would have to give us up to 5000 tickets.

Could we all say that we couldn't care less about this competition and we want out of it as soon as possible. Then, just to be contrary, he will give it his best shot.
