Free Beer for TWTD Readers
Thursday, 7th Sep 2017 10:35

Beer & Co are offering TWTD readers attending next week’s home game against Bolton Wanderers a complimentary pint at their Saints Oktoberfest, which is taking place at St Peter’s By the Waterfront on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th September.

Greg Cooper from Beer & Co said: “As 16th September coincides with ITFC's match against Bolton Wanderers I thought that the offer of a complimentary pint for all matchday ticket holders might work well, especially as our first session starts at 5pm, perfect timing for fans leaving the match.”

To claim the offer, attendees would need to purchase a Saints Oktoberfest ticket (£7 each or available via a six-for-five group offer) and present their matchday ticket on entry.

Is that worded right or am I being a bit dim... buy a £7 ticket to get a free beer? What else do you get for the £7 octoberfest ticket?

So it's £7 for a beer

You're paying for the event/entertainment. Oktoberfest is about more than just having a beer. If it's not your thing you don't have to go. I'm sure there are plenty of people who are planning to go in any case (people at my work are talking about it) and will gladly take up the offer of a free beer with it.

The ticket would be £7 anyway, and then you'd have to buy all your beer once in. If you've got a match ticket, your first beer would be free. Yes, 12th Man, if you're not intending to stay for more, then yes, it would be £7 for your one beer, so perhaps not the event for anyone just wanting a freebie...

You should get a complementary plastic pint container with the event printed on it as well.
