Sky East Anglian Derby Documentary Tonight
Tuesday, 17th Oct 2017 10:59

Sky Sports’ EFL Rivalries documentary series features the East Anglian derby between the Blues and Norwich City this evening ahead of Sunday’s big game at Portman Road (Sky Sports Football, 7.30pm).

Players from both clubs took part in the programme which will be repeated throughout the week ahead of the match. Sky is showing Sunday's game live (KO midday).

Among the players recollecting their derby memories is former Canaries’ keeper Bryan Gunn, whose son Angus will be between the sticks for the Norfolk side on Sunday, who recalled his infamous airkick that led to Town’s 2-1 1995/96 Portman Road victory.

“To be fair I don’t actually blame Robbie Ullathorne for that goal, I blame Mike Milligan!” Gunn joked.

“Because if you watch in the build-up he passes the ball back to Robbie Ullathorne, who can only pass it back to me.

“I came out and met it roundabout the penalty spot and had an almighty swing at it, unfortunately it’s hit a bobble and gone past me at knee height and bobbled its way into the net.

“I was at a golf day in Norwich the other day and somebody brought it up. I played 477 games for Norwich and this game seems to be the one that everyone always mentions!”
