Harrison and Knudsen Start at MK Dons Tuesday, 24th Jul 2018 19:15 by Nick Ames New signing Ellis Harrison starts for Town in their penultimate pre-season friendly at MK Dons (kick-off 7.45pm), while Jonas Knudsen is also named in the side after returning from his post-World Cup break, with Martyn Waghorn among the subs. Harrison, whose arrival from Bristol Rovers was rubber-stamped yesterday, will play through the middle with Freddie Sears and Gwion Edwards — who makes his first start after coming off the bench against Crawley and Barnet — likely to operate on either side. Cole Skuse, Flynn Downes and Grant Ward make up what looks like a midfield three, Jordan Spence, Jonas Knudsen, Luke Chambers and Luke Woofenden make up a back four that seems as strong as Town’s current resources allow. Bartosz Bialkowski keeps his place in goal. Youngsters Jack Lankester and Corrie Ndaba are both named among the substitutes, alongside much-coveted frontman Waghorn. Team: Bialkowski; Spence, Chambers, Woolfenden, Knudsen; Ward, Skuse, Downes; Sears, Harrison, Edwards. Subs: Gerken, Emmanuel, Waghorn, Kenlock, Ndaba, Lankester, Roberts, Dozzell.
