Andre Dozzell will be in the Town U23s side who open their Professional Development League Two South campaign against Sheffield United at Stocksbridge Park Steels’ Bracken Moor Stadium this afternoon (KO 2pm).

Dozzell is continuing work on his fitness having spent all but the first day of last season out with a torn cruciate knee ligament.

The 19-year-old also featured for the side coached by Gerard Nash and Chris Hogg in last week's behind-closed-doors friendly against Cambridge United.

Also making the trip to South Yorkshire are Ben Morris, Ben Folami, Conor McKendry and Barry Cotter. Admission is free.

Currie10 added 13:55 - Aug 13 Probably sensible he plays this level and completes 90 minutes perhaps twice before we even consider him playing for the first team. Perhaps after the international break he may be ready.
