Tilt Again Absent from Blackpool Squad
Tuesday, 28th Aug 2018 19:14

Blues target Curtis Tilt has been left out of the Blackpool squad for tonight’s Carabao Cup tie at Doncaster Rovers.

It’s the second successive game the central defender has been omitted by the Seasiders with interim-manager Terry McPhillips citing fitness concerns when explaining the 27-year-old’s absence from Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Accrington Stanley.

Earlier, TWTD reported that the Blues are getting closer to finally landing the former Wrexham man.

This is getting extremely boring, I will no longer look at posts about "Tilty" unless it says he's signed!!!

Is he any better than Chambers or. NSiala ? Or is he just back up for cover..... we have signed up plenty of average players...... we need players that are better than Chambers Nsiala and Woolfenden if we are to climb the table.

Will he be match fit?

Garv - I doubt he'll have just been sitting around while not playing, so expect he'll be quite lean...

If this actually happens,it will really strengthen our back four.I believe Tilt and
Nsialla would provide a formidable partnership.
Get Bishop and Huws back match fit and hopefully bring in a quality striker and
the team will be shaping up nicely.

I hope he turns out to be as good as we all expect him to be now.
