U23s in Action at Bolton
Monday, 10th Sep 2018 11:18

Andre Dozzell, Barry Cotter and Idris El Mizouni will be in the U23s side facing Bolton Wanderers at the University of Bolton Stadium this evening (KO 7pm).

French midfielder El Mizouni, a 17-year-old second-year scholar, has been rewarded for an impressive start to the season in the U18s by being elevated to the U23s.

The team coached by Gerard Nash and Chris Hogg is currently second in the Professional Development League Two South table and is unbeaten since their opening match.

Just what is going on with Bishop / Huws?

Add Adeyemi, Phil can you shed any light?

Re Huws and Bishop, may well just be felt they're better training with the first team rather than playing another U23s game. Bishop did have a knock but didn't sound anything serious. Senior players haven't tended to travel for U23s games that often anyway.

Re Adeyemi, as of a couple of weeks ago there had been no progress on his achilles injury.

Collins still training with us Phil?

Means no Dozzell in the HI'll squad most likely. Could it mean Huws +/- Bishop in the 17 for Saturday? Hope so.
