Friday, 14th Sep 2018 09:55
Rod Stewart is returning to Portman Road to play a concert on Friday 7th June next year.
Stewart, who has previously played Town twice, releases his 30th studio album, Blood Red Roses, on September 28th and is following it up with the Rod Stewart Live in Concert tour taking in stadia and and outdoor venues across England and Scotland.
“We are delighted to be welcoming Rod Stewart back to Portman Road. He performed at the stadium in the late 90s and also in 2007,” Town’s director of sales, Rosie Richardson, told the club site.
“He certainly puts on a fabulous show and we're looking forward to the summer of 2019!”
Tickets will go on sale at 9am on September 21st via Ticketmaster, while pre-sale tickets are available from 9am on September 19th and can be accessed when pre-ordering Blood Red Roses from www.HMV.com.
Town season ticket holders and fans can also have options to buy tickets in advance which will be announced next week, along with details of hospitality and disabled facilities.
