Town and Canaries Could Face FA Action for Bust-Up
Monday, 11th Feb 2019 17:18

The FA could take action against the Blues and Norwich following the bust-up just before half-time in yesterday's derby which saw Town manager Paul Lambert and Canaries head of performance Chris Domogalla red-carded.

They will assess referee Peter Bankes’s report from the game and could charge the clubs with a 'mass confrontation' breach of FA Rule E20, that they failed to ensure their players and/or staff conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.

The incident followed a Jon Nolan challenge on Max Aarons, with a number of Norwich players running over to remonstrate, leading to the melee involving most of the players on the pitch.

Off the field there was subsequently a clash between Lambert and Canaries’ assistant head coach Edmund Riemer - rather than Domogalla who was erroneously sent to the stands in a case of mistaken identity - who the Blues boss said had strayed into the Town technical area.

At least it saved the snowflakes of last year getting uptight after Mickma told em what he thought of them.

Positivity - love it. If we don't both get a points deduction can we appeal and insist that we both do!

If the FA are going to charge us with bringing the game into disrepute (or whatever the charge may be) then perhaps Mr.Stiepperman should also have a charge slapped on him. His theatrics were surely an embarrasment to his club and fans but all attention has been diverted by other incidents.

Is it just me or was Lambert's latest P.R stunt not only slightly embarrassing but rather a tarnish on the club's image and reputation?

All the pre match talk of not letting the Norwich fans get to you, then saying how half of Glasgow hates you, then you act like a complete Dick!

Passion?

Just looking for a fight in my opinion.

It's just you N.S.V, (Lol) great to see a bit of passion from PL, ironic that all the scrutiny was on the fans behaviour when it was the staff kicking off!

The mere fact that the ref sent the wrong Nodge bloke off to the stands indicates he didn't see what was going on...not sure why Lambert was sent off for...what did he do? Poked a mouthy scummer in the chest when he came over to our technical area... oh dear how awful.

Phil, I think their member of staff was not Riemer, but Ed Wooten, GK Coach. At least, that is who was standing neaxt to Domagalla, when Lambert confornted him and then Chambers grabbed him and marched him away.

Why not-we've had everything else to deal with this season-get it all out of the way now & we can have a few seasons without everything going against us!! Did Mick smash a mirror when he left last season???!!

Mick didn't need to smash a mirror. He knew what the likely outcome would be following his departure.
