Knudsen Joins Malmö Thursday, 20th Jun 2019 16:32 Former Blues left-back Jonas Knudsen has joined Swedish side Malmö FF on a four-year deal.
The move will see the 26-year-old play in Europe next season with Malmö having finished third in the Allsvenskan in 2018 to take a place in the 2019/20 Europa League qualifiers. They are currently top of the league by six points.
Knudsen left Town after a four-year spell this summer with his contract up at the end of the month. Having made it clear he was keen to move on in January no new contract was offered.
Yesterday, the Danish international issued a farewell statement on social media.
"It feels really good. When I heard about the interest from MFF, there was no doubt," Knudsen told the official Malmö website.
"It is a club with high ambitions and it attracts me. Here you will win every match, win titles and play in Europe. It feels great to be part of this club and this team."
Sporting director Daniel Andersson added: "It feels very good that we have attached ourselves to Jonas.
"He is a high-level player who is very professional in everything he does and he will help us a lot in the future."

Did I say Besiktas were a top team ? Can you see Rochdale or Accrington beating them though? In the Chelsea team that night : Giroud , Willian, Barclay, Pedro, Azpilicueta, Luiz , Jorginho . Sounds half decent to me . Keep up 73

Very nice guy and a good enough player who always gave 100 percent for Town. Good luck, Jonas!

Not 1 Chealsea player mentioned was a regular premier league starter. Hardly a 1st choice starting 11 is it Bobble. I'll slow down for you bobble...no worries.

ITFC73 think you should check your stats as half the team that night made over 30 starts , however my point was Malmo are a bit better than a League 1 team , but a bit like your old mate BlueArmy you can't make any post on here without it being a negative .

Lol bobble. I post what I want, when I want, how I want. If you don't like it, lump it. Or do yourself a favour and don't read it.

After double checking the stats Bobble, it confirms. Chelsea played Malmo straight after being taken to the cleaners by Man City 6.0 Sarri ringed in the changes, in fact 8 changes for the Malmo game. Giving a rare start to Gary Cahill, amongst many others. Yes Bobble a Chelsea b stroke c team it was. Glad that's all now cleared up.

It shows how far we've fallen that we're arguing whether Jonas Knudsen is good or not

Sorry. You have lost me. Was it a good Chelsea side that night or not?

Whether you think him a good player or not. This is yet another saleable asset that we have watched walk out of the door for nothing. Should have sold him last Christmas whilst still under contract.

ITFCsince73, why don't you shut the f*** up you childish fool. I am getting completely sick of reading post after post of your negative, argumentative crap. I'm sure I'm not the only one. You are ruining this site for alot of others. Would it be too much to ask Phil to ban him?

More of a side step than a step up. Although Malmo normally tend to dominate the league it's no better in standard than league 1. Knudsen threw his toys last season, came out in defence of the beleaguered Dino, butt fecked himself out of the squad after no one wanted him and still there's plenty of well wishers. Beggars believe in my book, but hey each to their own
