Town Mark World Mental Health Day Thursday, 10th Oct 2019 15:14 Town have marked World Mental Health Day by releasing a video of skipper Luke Chambers, midfielder Flynn Downes and Blues supporter Jordan Hockold speaking to Suffolk Mind chief executive Jon Neal about their experiences with mental health. Neal visited Portman Road last week for the conversation ahead of WMHD, which is held on October 10th annually. Earlier this season Downes spoke about how he struggled with the mental aspect of football when he first broke into the senior side. "My advice would be to talk," Downes said. "I didn't do that at the start but when I did it really helped.” Town are supporters Suffolk Mind and Samaritans with the squiggle from Mind’s logo joining the first letter of players’ names on the back of their shirts.
