Tractor Girls Host Norwich in FA Cup Derby Clash on Sunday Sunday, 27th Oct 2019 09:49 ITFC Women are in FA Cup third qualifying round derby action against Norwich City at the Goldstar Ground, Felixstowe this afternoon (KO 2pm). Forward Natasha Thomas says she and her team-mates were delighted when the Blues were paired with the Canaries. “Everyone was buzzing, who doesn’t like a derby and especially in the FA Cup?” she said. “We obviously want to get as far as we can and if we can beat Norwich as well, that’s a bonus.” Earlier in the season, in the league meeting between the teams at the Goldstar Ground, Town thrashed Norwich 4-1 in front of a record 761 crowd and Thomas, who scored in that game, is hoping for another big crowd. “Definitely, there’s been so much support so it will be good to see if we can smash the number of supporters we got last game this game and keep on going,” she added. Reflecting on the atmosphere at that match, she continued: “It was crazy. At the start it was a bit daunting but as the game went on we were thriving off it and it’ll be amazing to get that again for this game on Sunday.” The 24-year-old says she expects Norwich to come to Suffolk looking for revenge: “Whenever we play Norwich they always want to beat us, it’s a derby game, it is what it is. We’ve just got to keep playing our game, do what we do and smash them again.” Entry is free for Town season ticket holders but otherwise is £3 for adults, £1 for concessions and free for under-16s. ITFC Women’s midfielder Blue Wilson will be among those appearing on Saturday’s Life’s a Pitch on BBC Radio Suffolk.
