terrible defending from throw in. their keeper made 3 great saves towards the end which offers encouragement. still 2 up front for me though.

Woeful defending. Awful stuff. Things can only get better? Right?

Comical defending week in week out. Defenders looking at each other, " I thought you were picking him up" ......How many more times does Chambers get caught out up the pitch and other defenders a yard or two away from a challenge. More often than not ya don,t get that time on the ball even in non league footy. Good footballers are confident in their ability. Players who are prepared to go for a run with the ball , hold the ball and find a quality pass. We have sporadic moments of getting forward and the odd chance from a dead ball . Good luck Paul Cook.

Not much one could say really. Must have taken to about the 80th minute before any positive play from us featured. We need to be much better to get points from the next two away games if we are to continue to push for a play-off place. Forget top 2 with Skuse back again due to Downes being out.
Might just about fluke 6th position if we can put another couple of good runs together.

Not going to judge Paul Cook until next season, but it's obvious he needs his own coaching staff in, who rarely get a mention when a team is doing well. Plus he needs a pre season to bring in his own players . Most of the current squad will have to be slowly off loaded. Unfortunately the players who are actually worth a fee might be sold off first. There's going to be a lot of upset fans when they see their favourites get shown the door. Im confident Paul Cook can get it right but he has to be firm and make some very big decisions.
