I also feel its a shame that Mcgavin is onloan & not available to replace Downs

He needs a rest to be honest...looked a bit out of it the last couple games or so.

Not really been as good as what i thought lots of effort but no end game wont make alot of diffrence in or out.

Been waiting a year to see a team with KVY at full back, and Jackson/Norwood up top.

Have a feeling I will still be disappointed on both fronts, but as things stand, with Jackson's performance on Tuesday, Parrot WILL be missed.

very average , expected a bit more than he has shown so far. Right now the whole team are very poor so i would play some of the young players that should be up for proving themselves ,the first team have largely been a let down .

I love the way our so called supporters support our players.

Good service to front players has not been there for a long time. Any good striker would struggle with what they have to feed off here. Not one single player on the books can beat his man consistently down the flanks and put in a decent cross. No midfielders boss the midfield to feed good balls through the middle. I can see Parrott having a good future in the game, but it won't be here.

I've not seen the winner of Miss Wigan this year but I doubt she's worth the trip.

This is ridiculous now, now the Pubs are reopening soon, Aaron Drinan has been called up for the Dog and Duck friendly the next day verses the Working Mens Social Club and is also unavailable.

Troy Parrot has a good career ahead of him. I guess he is the youngest in our squad (or very close!) and needs patience, good coaching. He possibly is in the wrong team at the wrong time with us, but the experience will be invaluable. Pity he is not one of our own!

No issue. He's okay but not our player.

He's got a bad rep and from what I have seen merits it. McGavin should never have been put on loan he's decent and an Ipswich player. Jackson's simply a poorly skilled player, decision making abstract and can't read the game.

Are numbers4&8 had a holiday in Ireland 2years ago that's good enough to get in there squad.

Any striker would struggle to score goals with the midfield servjce they don't get. As much as I like the attraction of home grown youngsters making up our midfield, it simply isn't working. Too lightweight, chasing shadows and never stamping their authority on the game. Individually they have flair but collectively they are not good enough or tough enough. Norwood, Jackson and Parrot will not score many goals until we sort this out.

Sometimes I think the 'fans' are the real reason for the demise of this club. It's both the apathetic acceptance of Evans driving the club into the ground and the berating of our own players that often make me feel this way. There we go, got it off my chest...

Sure there are shortcomings within the squad clearly evident from the last few games under a new manager...and things will change but berating Troy Parrott is somewhat short sighted..if many other players worked as hard as him we may have secured a few. more points.
Loans are sometimes made to take a closer look at players. before making a bid for them....their attitude and application being one of the things under scrutiny..Parrott has passed that criteria.
I think that one day he will make a very good midfield player..he has presence and a good touch ..is good size for centre mid...
From loans have come some very good players eg Jim Magilton Martijn Reuser Daryl Murphy...
To operate successfully strikers require others to create the chances ..we don't have that in our side at the moment..but under Cook we will..eventually..
I share the frustration of being in our position..but face facts we ARE in League 1..we do NOT have a cohesive side and we DONT have a divine right to win ..ask Leeds/Sunderland/Stoke/Notts Forest/Portsmouth etc....you have to give credit and respect to those clubs that are progressing.
