Town’s U18s hit the top of Professional Development League Two South with a 4-3 victory against Peterborough at their training ground on Saturday.

Striker Gerard Buabo (pictured) scored twice and Jack Manly and Archie Kieran once as Adem Atay’s side came from 3-1 down to claim the three points.

The U18s, who finished second in the table last season, are next in action behind closed doors against Crewe Alexandra at Playford Road on Saturday morning.

U18s: Cullum, Agbaje, Bradshaw, Moodie (Kieran 85), Stephenson, Knock, Valentine, Okunowo (Nwabueze 70), Boatswain (Jaiyesimi 70), Manly, Buabo. Unused: Williamson, Hoque.

Upthetown1970 added 13:39 - Aug 31 Totally agree BigMick. Why are our u18 matches still behind closed doors. Other clubs are allowing fans ?. Our club were very poor last year showing our u18's progress to the FA youth cup semifinal, again we relied on other clubs to stream the match.
