Ndaba Nets First Career Goal
Sunday, 3rd Apr 2022 17:56

On-loan Blues defender Corrie Ndaba netted a memorable first senior goal as Salford City beat Hartlepool 2-0 at Victoria Park.

The 22-year-old struck in the 19th minute to put his side in front and Jason Lowe added the second nine minutes later.

Former Republic of Ireland U21 international Ndaba has spent the season with Salford, who are ninth in League Two, making 24 starts and two sub appearances.

Ndaba is contracted to Town until the summer of 2023 with the club having an option for a further season.

Wow an ITFC centre half scoring! Get him back in the team.

Great to see he is doing well and keeping his name in the frame.

Tidy right foot finish from a left-sided defender & seems to have done very well at Salford. His style of play should fit nicely into a McKenna back three, so he still has a chance of making it with us. Always thought he had something about him, so Imagine what he'll be like after a pre-season under our new management. Edmondson & Burgess will be hard to get past, but he will probably save us the hassle & expense of a new signing on that side & can offer an option at left back when required.

That was more like a strikers finish. He looks like he's beefed up a bit. Be interesting to see how he performs in preseason. Im not one of those to get over excited and start shouting get him in the team after one goal but he's been very impressive at Salford.

Our left sided problem may already be solved for next season. He's quick and strong and good with his feet. Salford management speak highly of the lad so I'm sure KMK will give him a chance
