Ball: Surgery Went Well Sunday, 20th Nov 2022 09:35 Town midfielder Dominic Ball underwent surgery on his knee injury yesterday and says it went to plan.
The 27-year-old, who joined Town after leaving QPR in the summer, is expected to miss the rest of the season having ruptured a meniscus.
“Surgery went well yesterday and the road to recovery starts,” he said on Twitter.
“Was able to watch the lads put on a great performance after my op and that made things a lot better! Time to heal and watch as many World Cup games as I can.”

He's been very unlucky, as have the club. When fit & playing regularly he has been a solid Championship level midfielder & so at 27 I would have expected him to have gotten better & better over these weeks with Evans out. But that's football & he'll be back as a very useful member of the squad next season, when hopefully he'll be playing Championship football again. I do like the midfield dynamic of Morsy & Humphries though & that will only improve the more they play together & develop their understanding. An injury, or 3 match ban for either though, leaves us vulnerable, even with Camara now getting minutes in his legs.

I recovered so well from my first meniscus tear (when I was 20) and actually felt stronger....unfortunately I have had to have a knee update every ten years since until I have a transparent meniscus now...
