Seeing them laid out like that it really strikes home how there are no ‘easy games' this season, it's gonna be a great Xmas should we beat Norwich at home too

I'm only interested in the fixture list because I'm only going to be in the country for probably a week. It's lucky that I can probably get to a home game, but it's going to be Plymouth which is not that exciting.

Some solid testing openers that should set the standard high. Will see how we react to stepping up. Exciting times!

That will be the Norwich game on the 17th then at a stupidly early kick off time as usual

Promotion or play off party at home? Now kit and players info required to ramp up the expectation some more.

complete irrational overconfidence, but I honestly don't think we should fear any of the teams in this league

March and April look interesting. Some winnable games in March which could put us on a good run. In April we face a relegated side, two that finished in the play-offs and two that were tipped to finish in the play-offs. So, they could be teams that are there or thereabouts next year. Could be an opportunity to put some rivals behind us.

The first month is a good test, a side recently promoted who have done well, a team expected to do well, a side that struggled last season and a relegated one.

Leicester is the quick turnaround matches with December and January games home and away

Looking at those fixtures now, it makes you a bit more nervous. Think we definitely need some new recruits and sharpish.

It's all feeling very real now that the fixtures are out.

It does look scary when compared to the calibre of the teams we played in league one last season but if we improve our squad appropriately, there should just be a few games that we ought to be anxious about and one of those is the first fixture.

COYB!

These fixtures bring it home….but we shouldn't fear any of them.
If we're top 10 at Christmas we'll know we're on to something….!!

huddersfield, cardiff, rothherham, plymouth, norwich , preston, millwall, swansea, hull, blackburn.......they havent won anything between them in over 6 centuries...not much to be scared of in this division then...are people on here seriously worried about teams like these ????
