Dyer Gifts Chesterfield Winner's Medal

Former Town midfielder Kieron Dyer gifted his Vanarama National League winner’s medal to a presenter from a Chesterfield media channel following their trophy lift at the SMH Group Stadium yesterday.

Dyer, 45, is a member of ex-Blues boss Paul Cook’s staff with the Derbyshire side, who romped to the National League title last month, ultimately finishing 12 points ahead of second-placed Barnet.

The Spireites were handed the trophy at Saturday’s 3-2 final-day victory over Maidenhead United and afterwards Dyer kept a promise he had previously made to Ellie Yates from 1866 Sport.

Think Cook is better than non-league to be fair, Bobble, & now shown it.
Decent bloke & wish him congrats, as is Dyer. Had a rough time here but his squad demolition insistence is in a small part why we're in the lofty position we now are. Without signing the likes of Burns, Morsy, Walton, Hladky, Edmundson, Burgess & Chappers, what would KM now have to build around?

This was a professional performance, lit up by another Jaden Philogene wonderstrike. Stoke were decent first half, but seemed to run out of ideas. Both teams tried things that didn’t quite live up to that second-minute sizzler, but Town rarely looked under too much threat.
