We have been so outclassed in the last two games. One needs to really question our transfer policy. We have paid through the roof for players that are arguably no better than what we have (exception: delap and maybe o'shea). How does Forrest sign Murillo and Milenkovic in back to back summers for barely over 10M each, and we are stuck on recruiting domestically, purportedly because they settle in easier? Recruiting so irresponsibly puts us in a very dangerous position financially.

Mehrad, what utter tripe. I cant even begin to describe how little you know, let alone know what the dealings the club have had unless you are on the inside. At best is pure conjecture.

@Chrisgee - what is conjecture? That our transfer activity has been rubbish and inferior to other teams - that is an opinion, not conjecture. Many transfer dealings are public - how much Forest paid for their defenders is fact, not conjecture. I am providing an example of how other teams (in other financial ecosphere) have done MUCH better in the transfer market than we have - this is an example, not conjecture (Forest signed 2 center backs who performing spectacularly for 20M, the same as we paid for Greaves). The only thing that we are NOT privy to is their wages (which ITFC might not be able to afford). The big point ur missing is that we have spent >125M putting us in a difficult situation from a FFP standpoint with way below average results. Who of the 13 new lads in your mind (other than Delap and maybe O'Shea) have performed?

Claiming that ITFC is recruiting irresponsibly is by definition conjecture.
