I can see why we were angry about the penalty. The Stoke player falls over after minimal contact & the ref buys it. Quite a bitter pill after not being awarded a much more obvious penalty late on Saturday.

Never mind the contrast with the clear penalties that were not given on Saturday, how on earth does any professional referee (or any ref at any level) give a penalty for that dive. It was abundantly obvious that he threw himself to the ground. The referee was either looking for an opportunity to give them a penalty (BTW - I'm not a conspiracy theorist and i am not saying I think the ref has been bought) or the ref is simply just not up to the job.
