Titus on Bench Fri 20th Oct 2000 11:04 Town have no real injury worries ahead of tomorrow's away clash with Bradford. Titus Bramble is now more fully recovered from his cold, but is likely to be on the bench as against West Ham. Mark Venus and John McGreal are expected to be the centre-halves. Jermaine Wright and Matt Holland had minor knocks from the Hammers game, but both will be OK for tomorrow. Wright's groin has settled down, while Holland's ankle problem has recovered. |
Ticket Change Thu 19th Oct 2000 15:30 Town are to change their policy on season ticket match numbers. From the Middlesbrough game onwards matches will be numbered at random and not in consecutive order as they have up to now. This will mean that supporters will have to bring their entire ticket books to matches rather than just the day's voucher. |

None of the players on this showing alone deserve to make the first eleven on Saturday, but was a good run-out, keeping the fitness levels high. |
Earnshaw Link Wed 18th Oct 2000 17:41 Town are being linked with Robert Earnshaw, a Welsh U21 striker currently playing for Cardiff City. The £2.5 million-rated striker is also rumoured to be interesting Celtic as well as already having had spells training with Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday and Fulham. Some TWTD Message Board regulars may recollect his name cropping up a few weeks back, but as those posting the rumours gave no source these weren't taken too seriously at the time. |

David Johnson, James Scowcroft, Amir Karic, Martijn Reuser, Gary Croft and John Scales are all amongst those likely to start with Karic making his first start in a Town shirt. |
Nets Come Down Tue 17th Oct 2000 16:22 Town have explained the appearence of nets behind each goal throughout Saturday's match with West Ham. A club statement said: "These nets were wider than the goals for the purpose of protecting supporters during the pre-match warm-up from loose footballs missing the goal. The nets did in fact remain for the entire match to see whether it would speed up the return of loose balls during the game. Following the match the club received considerable feedback from supporters who felt that these nets to be obstructive to their view." |
