Burley Refutes Newspaper Claims Fri 04th Aug 2000 12:28
An angry George Burley has refuted newspaper claims this morning that Richard Wright's contract is worth £18,000 a week. This was not confirmed by his agent, Jonathan Barnett, who merely said that Wright would be "well rewarded".

Town side: Salmon, Daly, Nicholls, McGreal, Mowbray, Venus (Moffat 35), Abidallah, Niven, Logan (Wasylyczin 82), Midgley (J Miller 44) and Friars (Dickinson 80)
