I always think that’s where Burley and our team went wrong.
Previously we played neat triangles with players supporting each other, a short pass was always on.
We then acquired a “ match winning star” and seemed to believe we had to pass the ball to him, probably the wrong pass at the wrong time that didn't do him any favours either.
My only criticism of Burley, loved him as a manager and coach.
Do you know what I think we have a better coach now who won’t fall into that trap.
We will need to strengthen but no player will be better than the team. |

i dont believe the theory teams have nothing to play for , i always think the teams going down or floating about mid table want to spoil someone elses party as a parting statement , We need to treat both Coventry and The Terriers with respect and not get complacent. We will need 100% from everybody. As for Linkboys comment re Wolfenden , i have to say i agree , i always fear a gaff when he is put to the test its cost us in the past , i just hope the pressure of these last two matches dosnt get to him now . So given whats at stake i think we have two tough matches to play still, the spectre of the playoffs is still real . COYB . |

He and that Italian Goalkeeper were financial disasters for the Town , caused Marcus Evans to save the club from CVA , and then 20 years of mediocraty . Let's avoid panic signings like that if we go up. |

Short-sighted decision by GC for shareholders who are also long term fans and will be around long after GC has gone. A small dividend would be the right thing to do if promoted in recognition of the support shown, clubs earn £100m+ per season in the Premier League so is easily affordable. Sign of greed and bad PR from the club. |

Our shares are worthless, not worth the paper they are printed on. We possess no influence with a 1% stake and no financial benefit, in a few yeats they won't exist at all.
So if we are lucky enough th be promoted let's get together and sell them to the Saudis. The club would be worth at least £500m and 1% of that is £5m so a decent windfall. All in favour, raise your hands and say aye. |

I gave the club money, never saw it as an investment. I don't know how many of us in total brought in, but I think the vast majority saw it as a gift. Obviously some recognition for our support back then would be nice, but I remain a share holder in the club I love. |
