Carter looks a really poor player. Not convincing in any of the games from what I’ve seen whether she plays at fullback or centre back. [Post edited 17 Jul 20:08]

If the West Indies could get a couple of decent batsmen, their bowling unit has performed very decently against Australia in this series. Just sad seeing such a great Test playing nation of the past be so underwhelming for so long. It would be nice if we had a strong West Indian test side once again. |

Crawley drives me nuts, when he plays well he looks a terrific batsman, but he just doesn’t deliver often enough as a test batsman. He’s got a weakness on the off stump and to me he’s liking a walking wicket. It reminds me of the Ramprakash and Hick situation of the 90s, surely Key and BM need to stop this experiment now? It’s gone on far too long now. |

England going to be well short of anything competitive for India to chase. In a way it might do our selectors a favour and have a rethink. We’ve still got plenty to consider regarding Crawley and Pope. They’ve both had plenty of opportunities and just aren’t delivering consistently enough. No doubt both will be selected for the rest of the series. |

Think so, now that would be a very interesting encounter. Sweden very pacy in the wide areas, where we struggled against France and organised. Got to be honest, this has been the best game I’ve seen so far in this tournament, although I have not watched that many. Both sides just going for the win. [Post edited 12 Jul 21:09]

I’ve said it on here before, but PSG are so good on the eye, they play a different brand of football to everyone else. So exciting and their pace is frightening!!

I’m not taking anything away from the Lionesses they have played well, however I’ve been really disappointed with the Dutch. I thought this was going to be a proper game against two forces in women’s football. The Dutch have looked way off the mark, really lacking the basics. |

Is it though? England really haven’t had to do that much against this lot. The commentators mentioned they had world class players, I’ve not seen one wearing an orange shirt on this showing. They look a shambles. [Post edited 9 Jul 18:31]

If England don’t win this game then they deserve to go out, this Dutch side have literally done nothing this half, really disappointed how poor they’ve been, was expecting them to be better than this showing.
Good strike by James, lovely drilled pass by Hampton to Russo in the build up. I did think that was a lovely pass by the keeper. |

England started well, but the Netherlands look a poor side, can’t string two passes together. The French are a cut and above both these teams. |

We saw for ourselves he was far from the finished article with us last season. Delap has still got plenty to learn and improve, but he’s got a lot of potential. The move to Chelsea will undoubtedly help him by developing his game by being around better players on a daily basis, but I would be hugely surprised if Chelsea see him as their starting number 9 come August. |

100% agree. The French have been far better than us, causing all sorts of problems down both flanks and pressing us a lot better in the middle of the park. The French fully deserved their half time lead, England have been outplayed.
Might not be popular, but why is the ITV studio panel all women, when we always seem to have a female representative for the men’s games? Just putting that out there. |
