Sunderland away New Year's Day 2001 - that North Sea wind was biting.

I live in Exeter and went tonight, great atmosphere, nice to watch fans enjoy themselves! I remember going on the pitch after the Bolton playoff semi, many moons ago! The quality of football on show was properly rubbish, God knows how we managed to lose to Barrow, a nothing team. Oh yeah, Cook. |

Not sure it applied to any of them. I thought Chambers struggled but that was mainly due to lack of midfield protection that he'd normally have from Skuse. Impressed by Edun, Nsiala, Nolan and Jackson. Sears did nothing and Ward didn't really get into the game. It's going to take time, but there's definitely some good players there. |
