 | Forum Thread | This post season lap of appreciation at 20:57 25 May 2025
It’s a bit of an anti climax year on year innit’ I’d hoped that at least this year - there was going to be some sort of cohesion to the goings on, and perhaps that we might have got a rousing mic controlled speech from Kieran - and maybe even a goodbye from Mas. Instead - we got dished up the usual cheering kids kicking the ball into the net from 3 yards and a vague wave from the players as they were told ‘that’s your lot’ and off down the tunnel. |

You'd have thought the statement published on the ITFC official - to lure fans to renew their season tickets for next season would have at least been checked, checked and checked again.... "As we look ahead to next season and beyond, I can guarantee you that my obession to continue to rebuild this incredible football club will not stop" No obsession to checking typo's obviously.....! Got to hope that with the media around the change in their keeper - announced days prior to the game, that their reserve Darlow will be starting - that he has a terrible game. What a bizarre decision to come out In the media and announce the decision ?! Hopefully it backfires and they have a stinker / and he concedes a couple of goals and they lose. Couldn’t think of anything better…! |

It’s a 6 a side tournament. Starts today. Club managers include: John Terry, Shearer Micah Richards and Lineker (joint managers), Lehman Pires and Ljungberg (joint managers) plus a lot of ‘Celeb’ types - rappers and influencers etc. Players are a sprinkling of lesser known ex pros - Josh Harrop and James Aliba are the only ex ITFC connections. It’s on Sky sports Mix at 17.15. First game 17.25 and goes on till about 23.00. There are 12 teams in the league I think…!? [Post edited 24 Mar 16:51]

And I was mildly excited about watching it. I’ve adopted a team (Alabi’s N5 FC) purely because I looked at the list of players to see if any of our ex players were in it - and chose to then ‘support’ them on that very basis. Strange for it to be starting the day of an England game though… |

To be up against such a poor Utd team playing a full half with 10 - and to go down at 10 is really, really poor. I’ve got to agree - it’s poor tactics, and a certainty we’ll be relegated now. |

Could see that when we gave away a needless corner |

Fittingly - I remember Venus putting us 1-0 up at Spurs first away game back in the Prem with an outside the box curler. Placed rather than power. Although we went on to lose 3-1 I think |
 | Forum Reply | Could Leicester sack their second manager this season? at 21:52 21 Feb 2025
I thought the Van Nistelrooij appointment was peculiar as it was. A week before they sacked Steve Cooper - VN was still at Utd - so highly, highly unlikely Leicester had even considered approaching him. Very strange selection.. |
 | Forum Reply | Defence of Muric is admirable but misguided… at 19:57 1 Feb 2025
I watched him closely today - and probably spent a little too much time transfixed on his actions rather than watching play - not that I missed much by doing so. Got to say - my observations revealed that he is the least vocal keeper I have EVER seen wearing the shirt. Having similarly watched Walton - I can’t help thinking that his conversation with the defence is what you’d expect, and dialogue between the defence is always appreciated as to tactics. Muric - nope. Not a friggin sausage today. I genuinely didn’t see him speak to his back line today which worried me. Similarly - what I could t believe whilst watching him - was his absolute lack of gesticulation to where he was going to play the ball. Typically - a keeper indicates to a defender with a point of the finger, sweeping wave or similar as to what they intend to do from a goal kick or dead ball. Nope - not Muric. Instead he played a game of guess who - and without even looking in the players direction the majority of the game - passed it on the deck to them. O’Shea seemed to be the recipient of most of these un warned passes - but he, being equally as poor at defending and a sucker for relegation - there’s no surprise they worked so badly together. Muric seems to want to ‘mask’ to the opposition who he’s playing out to - but at the same time - his lack of communication is utterly dreadful and doesn’t build any confidence with the defence. I personally think the defense has looked more assured with Walton’s communication.in the last few games despite the City and Liverpool scores - which were basically inevitable. Shame Walton’s injured. With Muric in - we might as well wave the white flag and concede. |

Should be Optus 3 - but the hull game overrunning seems to have stopped our game being shown |

Exactly that. What a prime nuclear sized bell end |
 | Forum Reply | Annoying to draw in that manner but I'd have taken a point before the game (n/t) at 16:22 5 Jan 2025
Agreed. I was thinking. A point would be a solid result before kick off. Such a shame for the post being hit - to then straight up our end and rather than 3-1, 2-2. Have to say a careless effort from Morsey to concede the first pen - given Wilson is at Olympic grade diving (as is Cairney). You can’t give cheats like that a sniff of a touch the way fouls are dished out in the prem. |
