Lambert: There Was No Respect for the Place
at 17:39:14

Wow, that is absolutely fantastic by Paul Lambert, I am so grateful to him for all he is doing.

At the same time, it shows Marcus Evans up for what he hasn't been doing - ie caring - about both the club and its fans. You don't have to pump squillions in to do that, Mr Evans.

PFA Medical Review Critical of Town Academy
at 11:19:02

This is absolutely shocking, couldn't be more serious really both from the safeguarding of minors and rehab of injured players generally, points of view. The club needs to conduct a root and branch internal review of its medical side, both for the sake of the players, esp minors, and for its own sake.

Harry Steps Down
at 13:53:24

Oh no! You'll be hugely missed Harry, but completely understand, there are only so many hours in the day, & health & family rightly come first. The number of pints lined up for you at games must be getting dangerously high now! so I'll buy you one somewhere else if you ever visit North Yorkshire! All the best to you.

Lambert: The Real Trophy is Getting Kids into the First Team
at 17:35:36

Makes perfect sense, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's the no. 1 reason PL is staying - he can see a bright & very promising future for us following that path. And it'll be less risky trying them out in League 1 than the Ch'ship, obviously.

McGoldrick: I Was Open to Staying at Town But Hurst Said No
at 10:25:20

Very honest of Didz, and well done to him for his self-awareness, getting himself motivated and fit again. All the best to him.

As for Hurst - so he's now been proved a liar on top of everything else. Words fail me (and that's a bit of a furst ;) )
