I wouldn't describe Mo as a "bad egg", he has been a tad unlucky @ Posh. In his first season, pre Christmas, he scored 15 goals, which matched Toney @ the time & only lost his place when Dembele hit form & gave the team greater balance. This was further the case when Sammie joined on loan. It could be agrued that Mo is a more natural goal scorer than both Toney & JCH but he doesn't have their work rate & physical presence. I don't think he would suit Ipswich but he would add something to other teams @ league one level. Suspect our "crooked" chairman would accept anything in the region of £500/600k. Surely worth a punt, not big money & is a proven goal scorer. Don't be fooled by his lack of goals this season as most of his appearences have been as sub. A gamble, yes, but under the right manager there is a goal scorer in the right team. |

Posh were close to signing Vardy but Leicester gazumped us. At that point we had a good track record of signing non league players. |

I'd be surprised if he did. [Post edited 10 May 2021 11:29]

I said it was great to have acheived promotion over 45 games & it received a response that "Lincoln have also done it over 45 games, or at least they would have if it weren't for that decision.", no they wouldn't, they would have needed all 46 games & hope results went for them. If it wasn't for this awful decision Lincoln would still have an opportunity for promotion but needed 2 wins & for Posh to lose their final game. Maybe I misread what the previous person was trying to say but I stated Posh acheived promotion over 45 games & their response was Lincoln would have done the same if it wasn't for the penalty. |

Debmele did put a request in during January but don't recall there being much interest. His form since then has been mixed. He remains me of Maddison, can dominate a game on his day but is far to inconsistent for many bigger clubs to take a punt. Someone may come in for him & you can't blame any player wanting to play higher level football but he may stick with Posh for one more season now we are in the championship. The grass isn't always greener & all that. |

Temp seats will be put in the London Road end. I believe the new ground was put back due to Covid & the uncertainty of finances in football & no crowds but no doubt the £7m plus earned via promotion will see things start asap. I'm more interested to see what the directors decide to do pre season, do they invest or sell our assets. I wouldn't be surprised if JCH is sold. It's not just down to DMac we have two Canadian guys who brought into the club a couple of seasons ago. [Post edited 1 May 2021 18:59]

It will be an interesting see what happens pre season. Do we cash in on JCH, does Dembele leave having put in a transfer request in Jan. We have a history of selling our assets but with the planned new ground it could see the directors making the necessary investment rather than cashing in. |

Have to agree that penalty was dodgy as f*** but I don't care. Promotion is earned over 46 games & it's great to have done it in 45. Promotion is worth @ least £7m so I'm sure we can get this ref a decent bottle of red. On a serious note I think it was important to get promotion this year as I suspect league one will be tougher next year. Operation vegeance completed #happydays |

Posh & Ipswich both ending on equal points was never going to happen. Wish I had seen this when you first posted it as I would have gladly had a bet with you. |
