Looked very average as no. 10 in the MK came. That was his chance. I think the biggest disappointment was his penalty miss at Burton. Our season could've been so different if we'd won there. I like Fraser but he seems a bit of a poor character
People seem to be forgetting the foul from Donacien in the build up to the penalty was a second booking and Chambo was lucky to stay on as he was last man for the pull back. Wycombe also could've had another pen when Garbutt handballed from a cross in the box. He also missed the most blatant corner to Wycombe ever when a shot was blocked behind. The ref was awful for both teams and should be taken off EFL games. Draw was a fair result although would've been interesting to see how the game unfolded had our perfectly good goal not been ruled out.
Time to select a settle sidebar ditch rotation. Don't see the benefit of rotating the back 3. Woolf Chambo and Wilson got to start every game and give freedom for wing backs to break forward. Nolan should play every game at no 10 as he's the biggest threat breaking from midfield
Mark with all due respect I think the opionion of an experienced manager who gets to work with these players day in day outweighs your thoughts on this matter
Here comes the meltdown. At the end of the day it was a studs up lunge on the player. I'm not saying it was a red but you very rarely get those sorts of dismissals overturned.
Fantastic read. I'm even more convinced now that he's the right fit for the club. I just hope our inpatient bunch give him the time he needs to implement his style in what is an increasingly tough division
Really impressed with Shrewsbury's style of play. Whether he could achieve the same with our current squad remains to be seen. I suspect he would need the backing to get the right players in order to implement his style. Potentially exciting times ahead! Coyb
Doesn't sound overly keen on the job but could be protecting his future with his current job. If you were offered the job Jack then you'd be lucky that a club as massive as ours with amazing history is giving you an opportunity to show your management skills in a tough division
Really hope I'm wrong but I can see us getting a hiding today. A really attaching lineup against a quality side who have been out of form and wanting to make their mark
I imagine Mick will match their 442. Can't see him dropping Hunt or Bru and Bishop performed well at Blackpool wide right. Bart Chambo Smith Berra Mings Bish Hyam Bru Hunt Murph McGoldrick
I have faith in Mick to turn this disappointing run around, as he did after a similar poor start last season. He knows what we need and is operating within restricted means to build the best possible squad. I assume he wont use any of his budget to sign up collison/ambrose until he has properly evaluated players available for loan
I'm pleased with this. He brings a wealth of experience and with a decent pre-season behind him (which he didn't get last season) should be a real asset.
