They lying!
The Cov game is almost more important than the Huddersfield game, not just that its the next one but there is this nagging knowing feeling that a defeat there is as good as us in the play offs in reality.
Whereas a point, means we need to win our final fixture at home against an already relegated side and its all in our own control.
The difference in consequences between a L or a D is so vast.
I can accept us fudging it up on the last day v Hudds - that would be down to us. There's nothing worse than relying on a result elsewhere however. |

Paul Cooper was on 'Time of our lives' on Sky, was posted on here recently. That programme was at least 10-12 years old and on that he stated he wouldn't have had a career in the 'modern' game
Craig Forrests kicking was the weakest part of his game.
For all the people having a downer on Hladky, both those keepers had errors in them and I don't think anyone can match him with the ball at his feet who has played for Town. I actually think Walton is as good as anyone apart from him. |

Frustrated that we've had 3 chances (Watford, Boro & Hull) after others have had a poor result and not for lack of effort failed to take advantage.
Happy, that we go to Coventry not needing to win. Regardless of what happens in the next 2, this was our toughest fixture left.
So, incredibly frustrated but not entirely unhappy with the result. |

At no stage have we been 'charging along' this season.
Even when we were 10 points clear of 2nd at one point, 95% of our wins have come from the finest of margins. Apart from Hull, Millwall & Wednesday there has always been just a goal in it.
We totally deserve to be where we are though, half of our defeats could have gone the other way.
Your post seems like its just a bit of a frustration at the last couple of games coming out, I get it - last night it was dissapointing not to take advantage. Having rewatched the highlights, we more than did enough to win the game in the first half. |

The fact that Ipswich do 'crushing disappointment' so well is the worrying thing!
Also mentally I had settled for the playoffs for a while, now things have got very real all of a sudden. |

Leeds not winning would have put us in a better short term position. But as consolation prizes go, bringing Leicester back within 3 points when they had been 18 ahead is a nice one.
If Leicester genuinely do choke, 2 into 4 is obviously better odds than 1 into 3 |

This is what getting out of league 1 meant. It really was no mans land down there, the longer we were there the lower our standing in the game got. No one talks about you much. |

£15m guaranteed + add ons minimum.
Whilst the rest of the squad are indeed more 'sum of parts' I reckon Hirst, Broadhead and Chappers would all go for 2x 3x what we paid for them. |

Reminds me of when Colchester famously beat Leeds and then got honked 5-0 by Everton.
You need almost everything to go your way to cause an upset and you very rarely get that 2 rounds in a row. |

I think Cov & Hull are better sides over a season so i'm not worried (even if they have beaten both)
It IS important our feathered friends avoid the play offs though. We need them to start competing without parachute payments. |

Leeds have beaten us twice and Leicester twice, are on an 9 game winning streak and yet we win tomorrow and we go level and 6pts behind Leicester.

I thought the opposite, we had played risky football up until the 35th minute but had managed to create 5 chances. After that the crowd idiotically got nervous everytime and we started to go longer and longer to no great effect.
Might need a McKenna intervention to remind a % of our fans inside PR that this is how we play. |
