 | News Comment | Town Survey Fans Following Portman Road Opener at 09:37:08
I agree with the first comment re iFollow. Would have been nice to have had a survey about that for those who listened only on iFollow. In addition to the tech probs, the standard of audio was clearly for a tv commentary. An EADT article 4th Aug on twitter says someone was 'mis-briefed' hence a tv commentary. Also the person who we're supposed to email about such matters is a Scott Paul. However, the response to my email last week re audio just had a 'standard response' from a Marcus Nash, as did many who emailed. Haven't seen anything about the feedback on the ITFC website & not everyone looks at twitter. Hopefully the new audio will be sorted. |
 | News Comment | Wigan Athletic 1-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 21:41:09
I agree with you Gazelle about our travelling support. I was listening on ifollow. I was impressed with how we managed to get a point from a top 2 side. Thought Norwood showed great character. Also when we were 1-0 down and 450 miles from home and all I could hear were our fans chanting away. I think they are a real credit to the club and must have given the players a lift as well. Really impressed. |

That's a shame. Bought train tickets in advance from London. First time on a train to the area in 18mths. Just a day out, as I can't get a refund. Weather looks nice around there atm. |

All the best Freddie! Congrats on your return to Colchester. Not too much of an upheaval for you and your family. |
 | News Comment | Chambers: I Was Told I Wouldn’t Be Leaving and Then I Would Be at 17:55:23
Wishing Chambers all the best at his new club. The manner of his and others' parting was no doubt badly handled. Will remember how Chambers put himself on the line every match. In the last few seasons especially, he often overcompensated for others & took the rap for it. He also played through horrendous injuries and it was a hard job to keep him from playing. He made for a fantastic role model for the youngsters here, even letting part of his home out to some. However, he has a new start/challenge. He can put all of that behind him. Pleased also that it's not too much of an upheaval for him and his family. |
 | News Comment | Colchester Confirm Chambers Signing at 21:08:54
Good luck to Chambers at his new club. A fresh challenge and a new start. He was a great role model for upcoming players. Showed great leadership and professionalism at all times. The move is also not too much of an upheaval to him and his family. |
 | News Comment | Colchester Closing in On Chambers at 22:46:57
Best of luck to Chambers. Great that he has been able to keep it local. Not too much of an upheaval to him and his family. |
 | News Comment | Skuse Excited by New Challenge at 20:23:37
Pleased it's worked out for Skuse at CUFC. Sad he's going but for him the start of a new chapter. Will bring great qualities to that team. Local as well & not too much disruption in terms of uprooting family. |
 | News Comment | Skuse's Colchester Move Confirmed at 18:16:37
Congratulations Cole on your move to Colchester. He read the game well. Underrated and understated. Pleased to see there's not too much disruption to his move to a new club. Will certainly go and watch a game or 2 there. |
 | News Comment | Departing Skipper Chambers Truly Humbled at 12:43:33
Not surprised there's been a deluge of messages wishing him well. Been ever present since I became an Ipswich fan in 2013. At the club for 9 years during that time gave everything on the pitch. Played through the most horrendous injuries and captained the team to the playoffs. What better role model for the youngsters! Has great leadership qualities and is a real people person. Will be sorely missed by many at Ipswich. I for one am sad to see him go. Wishing him all the best for the future. |
 | News Comment | Town Confirm Chambers and Skuse Exits at 21:32:16
Utmost professionals on the pitch. Skuse v underrated - you'd know if he wasn't there. Chambers somehow played through horrendous injuries and just got on with it. Always remember Freddies part in Chaplow's goal! All 3 always pleasant to have a chat with after games. Great with fans. Gave everything to the club. Shame they couldn't get a proper send off in front of the fans. Best of luck guys |
