Lambert: Sunderland Boss Ross Needed More Time
Sunderland probably looked at us - how well we've done this season after a terrible Championship season like they had and decided Ross isn't doing there what Lambert is here
Wycombe Game Likely to Be Postponed Due to International Calls
Even if all of them get called up, as long as we don't have any injuries we can still name a strong team and bench like this:
Dyer Departs But Still Aims to Become Blues Boss
It's a shame we couldn't have found a position for him higher up at the club - MM could have really done with a midfield coach!
As he said he has no divine right to oust coaches who are already in place, however many other clubs find a way to give a decent job to their ex stars....
Target Mayor at Portman Road
We've got to be a more impressive club who'll offer better wages and have more ambition than Plymouth and Tranmere, just hope it's enough to convince him not to play for his old manager or a club close to home.
Cardiff Target Blues U18s Coach Dyer
I would have liked to have seen Dyer progress through the coaching ranks here (and I'm sure he would too!), however it seems to be happening very slowly....
All Seven Out-of-Contract Senior Players Released
I'm sure Ward will be given the carrot of earning a contract here again if he can get fit and prove himself. Maybe if we're doing well by the time he's fit, a confident Grant Ward at his best would be a good free transfer signing!
Town Cut Season Ticket Prices But By How Much Depends on How Many Sold
I know I'm in a minority but I'm a little disappointed with the adult match day ticket - dropping from £25 to £23 isn't very much at all. I work every other Saturday so no point buying a season ticket, the £3 u12's ticket is great, I would have thought an adult L1 matchday ticket for £20 would have been fair.
Chambers: Ex-Players Should Be Fast-Tracked into Refereeing
It's a good idea getting ex players to ref and if they get good reviews they would be fast tracked, however it's unlikely to happen as the players don't need the money and know how much abuse they'd get!!
I would make all YTS players complete refereeing courses and take turns to ref their club's junior games. Then for all of those who don't make it through injury or whatever reason would have it as a reasonable career option.
We Should All Be in This Together Now - Fans, Local Media, Everyone
I don't blame the local media - I think they are just trying to report the truth and represent the feelings of fans, and at the moment a lot of fans are blaming Marcus Evans.
If the journalists were reporting nothing but "We're playing well" and "We're going to get out of this" then they'd be accused of just being ITFC propaganda. Sometimes when things aren't going well owners/directors/managers/players can't not be criticised....
Murphy and Carter-Vickers on Town’s January List
CCV did well last season so that'd be good - not sure what that would mean for Pennington though?
Murphy I can't see happening, but would he still be able to play 90 minutes week in week out? I'm sure he'll still win his headers, and hold up the ball well, but perhaps a little slower to hassle defenders?
Danish Clubs Eyeing Knudsen
I'd happily sell him for more than what we paid, be a shame to lose him for nothing though....
Lambert Meets Blues Legends
Even if he ignores all of their advise, by doing this has got them on his side - so they'll be more positive about him when asked by whatever media outlets ask - clever management!
Nash Linked With Manager's Job at St Patrick's Athletic
He's obviously done well with our U23's but that's probably as far as he can get unless he leaves, if PH left would Nash or Dyer be more likely to take a caretaker role?
Nash is the more experienced coach however Dyer has the top playing career and is the big name....
Emmanuel Joins Shrews on Loan
I like him but he's young and does make mistakes, lets hope with the experience he gets there he can cut them out of his game and come back to really challenge for a starting place :-)
