Maybe Toure on the bench?

Skuse played Right Back his last season at Bristol City, lets get 2 full backs who can pass and move on from there, it maybe controversial but long ball isn't working and it seems we tried playing football against Hull, just nobody told Chambers and Knudsen!!!

With no fit in form wingers surely the time is now to try last season's successful 433 system. I've don't think Skuse and Douglas can play together, so for this game I'd drop Skuse as I think Douglas would cope with Diame's physicallity better. Tabb in the middle to provide the energy

We went on a good run last season with this sort of system, McGoldrick was central but drops off leaving space for the wide forwards to come in - Murphy last season scored lots of goals from here

Just a thought - Hyam has the energy to get up and down the pitch all match and defensive quality too, but would he have the ability composure in the final third?

We know 2 things before we start - Bournemouth will control possession and we are stonger aerially.... This team is the sort of team Mick likes and not a team I would recommend, but knowing who we're up against if we try to out pass them we'll lose, so our best chance is to keep it tight and bombard their box every time we get a set piece in their half! If Bru and Parr are doubts then Mick usually doesn't take chances with them, if Bru is fit then I'd start him ahead of Chaplow

With players out I would play our best 11, but all in positions that suit them!! I.e. no Bishop on wing!

After seeing a far better performance vs Sheff Wed I think we should stick to the same side which started 2nd half. Bru was very impressive coming on then, but I feel Bishop demands the ball more and that helps the defence play less direct.

We seemed a lot more impressive earlier this season with 4-3-3, playing a high pressing game and able to control more of the possession with 3 in the middle. After this break hopefully the players will be able to press again like they did before xmas. Parr coming in as a more natural full back than Chambers, so Smith is the unlucky one to miss out. Bru also just as unlucky, but I think we need Skuse's defensive awareness, Tabb's workrate and Bishop gets the nod because of his class! Ambrose unlucky to not even make the bench!
