I agree, seemed quick and leapt above our defenders everytime, seemed to be a real handful

Got some bad nostalgia yesterday
at 16:37 24 Mar 2024

I went to several England matches a few years ago and found the support there to be more people going for the experience rather than die hard fans, but I guess that's just what it is, England matches are too infrequent for people to be that obsessed.

The second time I went after the match fans got held back from entering the tube station at Wembley as it was overcrowded, the last train to Ipswich was 11pm and I made it by about 20 seconds, after that I left as others you mentioned did a couple of minutes before the end as the alternative would be to miss it and pay hundreds for a taxi?

Forest docked 4 points
at 16:41 18 Mar 2024

I can't see anywhere why they got docked 4 pts for being 35m over the limit where-as Everton got 10 down to 6 points deducted for being 19m over.

I don't care for either team just seems like they're making up as they go!

How was Axel last night?
at 14:23 6 Mar 2024

I was impressed after the game Davis owned up to the mistake, knowing he made a mistake makes it less likely he'll do the same again. Burgess also made a mistake on that goal as he left his man when he assumed Davis would put the ball out

Morsy tackle
at 14:16 6 Mar 2024

I haven't seen a replay of it yet, to me it looked like Williams went in two footed and Morsy didn't try to jump over both legs letting his studs slide over Williams' leg

Are we ?
at 10:08 5 Mar 2024

As others have said that Plymouth seemed to have a tactic to initiate contact with an Ipswich player then throw themselves to the floor and first half the ref gave them a free kick every time. I don't know if at half time a linesman or someone else had a word with him or maybe he just saw replays and realised what was going on and gave them a lot less second half - which then allowed us to play

Think they've made too many subs now so not strong enough to get a few more goals...

I hate VAR so much

The PL will have the semi-automated offsides come in next season, it will still say players are offside by a toenail but at least it will give that decision in a few seconds.

I would change it so it never delays a restart, players celebrate for about a minute, which you'd have thought is enough time to spot a clear and obvious error, if it takes longer than that it can't be that obvious

Axel !!! ..... absolute class
at 00:36 25 Feb 2024

He would have been my pick for MOM today.
His pace and strength got stopped their attacks several times.
He didn't do too much going forwards, was often used as a decoy but then showed great composure he did get forward for Sarmiento's goal

Team Vs Birmingham

I think McKenna seemed to suggest it, I think Travis has played as much at full back for Blackburn recently as he has in midfield.
Think I'd do:
________Hladky
Tuanzebe Woolf Burgess Davis
_____Morsy Luongo
Burns __Hutchison __Broadhead
________Moore

I was going to say Summerville, but instead I'll go for Dewsbury Hall

I would consider the change now, even his passing last night wasn't up to his usual standard.

However Walton was poor against Maidstone and Fulham so maybe it'll take him a few games to get back to his best, can we give him a few games? Not likely

Which of these is the most annoying person to be sat near at a game?
at 09:00 12 Feb 2024

Only one I've sat near is this one "‘No time for tippy tappy’ - The person who inexplicably shouts “FOOOOOORRRRWWWWARDDD” a good few times a game"

You could understand if they didn't like playing out from the back or didn't like long ball but not liking both at the same time and having no idea they are constantly contradicting themselves.....

McKenna to Liverpool in the summer? (n/t)
at 11:16 26 Jan 2024

We'll have to hope for Xabi Alonso to go there - it's the appointment which makes sense, however Real Madrid were linked to him too as Ancelotti was expected to take the Brazil job in the summer but he recently signed a new contract so you'd guess that's no longer happening?

I heard De Zerbi was earmarked by Man City to replace Pep - he has a year and a half left on his deal

I agree, he was the best player against Wimbledon, perhaps he excels against weaker opposition so this could be the perfect game for him to get his confidence up - perhaps was also McKenna's plan with Harness starting ahead of him last night

Burns our best player so far
at 20:52 22 Jan 2024

The ball bounced up when he did that, it's difficult to take the ball and run past a defender when it's at your waist height.

I agree with the OP he's been our best attacking player, Woolfenden at the back has been decent, I'm yet to see anything that tells me Travis is better than Ball, hopefully that'll come!
