2016 was the year of the right, no doubt about it. First Macron in France Now are we seeing the young mobilized more then before, and middle class Britain perhaps shifting. Could it happen? Personally, I don't think so, as I think the tabloid backlash is about to start, but its nice to hope.
Ok, the French B team were not in their right mind... But... We have a number 2 GK, Butland looked very good The two young Spurs lads looked very alright. Alli has some growing up to do, but is a high pressing, reasonably creative midfield option. Dier may be the 'in the hole' midfielder we have lacked for a while. Barkley looked like a proper international footballer. Sterling was superb. Stones and Cahill may just work as a centre back partnership. Kane can hold the ball up, and due to his growing reputation, teams are scared of him.
Just heard a rumour that Red Bull are interested in buying Leeds United as they want to get a foothold into the English game. Considering they already own an Austrian team - Red Bull Salzburg and an MLS Franchise (hate that word) - New York Red Bulls - Are we going to see something as laughable as Red Bull Leeds?
Still, they would throw money around (if they could loophole FFP).
