so what do you all do for a living on 17:54 - Jan 17 by StochesStotasBlewe | Left school at 16, worked on a plant nursery, spent a year at horticultural college, more time spent at various nurseries around the UK, 5 years growing mushrooms, good money but tedious, left to manage a garden centre, started as a self employed gardener 8 years ago. Love it, never going to be rich, but working in the great outdoors & for some really nice people is so satisfying. Can see why Benters is enjoying his new found career so much. |
So, have you any shrooms for sale?

I was able to purchase my first brand spanking new Toyota Hilux at the age of 18 for 10k cash boom! CASH MONEY ! LOOK AT ME .. I bloody loved it,after 25 yrs of doing that i decided enough was enough and i started bricklaying until i got cancer,i then had 4 yrs of sh1t Chemo/Radio/operations and had to go back to work,so someone offered me a garden to love and look after, that was in Sept 2015,now in Jan 2017 i have 14 gardens and customers and more coming in as we speak ! Mostly brochure design and branding work - logos, stationery and other supporting collateral, but do other things as well (such as Oliver's banner as one example). Have a look at http://www.wylie.co.uk to see some of the type of work I do ('work' tab at the top, and then clicking on the bottom right hand corner of each of the panels below that will show more detail), and happy to discuss any jobs with anyone needing something doing... so what do you all do for a living on 18:19 - Jan 17 with 2340 views | michaeldownunder | In the UK I worked for transport and shipping firms. always seemed to made to be incharge of stuff and not get paid much extra for it. Working to tight deadlines seemed the norm while other people seems just to float along in the job. Moved over to Oz, was going into the same field then got offered a job working for a porn broker. Live ten min from work, drive a van and look after a small storage depo. Work 9 to 4, on first day was asked if I minded taking van home each night and once a week make a trip up the coast to an exchange of goods. They pay me to sit in a café overlooking the beach and wait about half an hour for the goods to be made ready. The owners are great people, there is always some one incharge of me but they leave me to my own devices. At 4pm I say goodbye to everyone and go home untroubled to have a drink on the patio.

so what do you all do for a living on 17:00 - Jan 17 by hoppy | Never realised you were a civil servant? |
Well, I used to be an accountant and as such worked on the fringes of the civil service for about eighteen months - eighteen thankless months with more bosses than you could count on the fingers of both hands and never knowing where the next impossible task was going to come from. To be honest, I couldn't hack it (possibly from using TWTD as stress relief) and quit...but I did get to supply the data to answer a parliamentary question. Spent a year or so in the NHS and that was almost as bad. People in private industry with just one principal to ultimately answer to do not know how easy they have it. Sorry, that got a bit serious - and I lied, I still do some pro bono financial stuff for a local charity.

Doesn't that involve identifying people palming off fake things as real? Do you run surveys on people without them realising in-order to judge susceptibility of the public to fake stuff.
