To the world in general:
I loved old Jamaica as a kid. And rum and raison ice cream was my favourite.
Liked caramel.
And dark chocolate orange.
And those Hazel nut chocolate bars. (Fruit and nut was also ok).
Hated liquorice. Still do. Vile stuff.
Don't eat any of those things now although if someone could point me in the direction of some decent chilli dark chocolate I might be interested.
Agree with hoppy. Wtf is it with lavender scented food? |

This stuff's nice, available in quite a few places now too. Only used to see it at places like English Heritage gift shops.

Yes, I always use it, it makes a real difference for reasons that I can't explain. I also add a mug of black coffee - preferably brewed but if not use Carte Noir. | |

It's a bit like the cocoa thing in as much as you don't / shouldn't taste it.

Each to their own of course but I haven't found anything as nice.
Thinking about coffee in spag bol I can see why it wouldn't work. It's too bitter for it, you would need to counteract it will brown sugar. [Post edited 27 Apr 2017 18:23]
