I’m not suggesting for a second that we lost today because of our ball boys/girls but is anyone else getting pissed off with them? I’m sure they think that they are just there to watch the game.
When will the club realise that having slightly older and wiser ball boys will make a difference. When you’re losing, the opposition wastes enough time without us giving them a hand!
It may only be small, but they have an influence on the game.

Your not the only one whose noticed it. There's been a few who hardly seem keen to move. Watching as a kid getting the ball and passing it to one of our players would of made my day. It's hardly important but they do only have the one thing to do. |  | | |

Did you see Pep talking to the ball boy last week v Palace saying it's his job to get that ball to the City players as soon as possible, I was thinking at the time how much part of things that lad must have felt....it's actually important stuff, especially for a side with the pace of City.. |  | | |

West Ham throw quick as lightening.. ITFC throw as slow as a snail. I seem to remember one refused to get the ball. | |

I noticed it too.
But not as much as the slowness getting the ball back from when it went imo the lower Cobbold. Every fecking time the people were throwing it back but failing to make it on the pitch, resulting in it bouncing straight back into the stand. Bloody irritating |  |

The reason we lose games is not because of the ball boys / girls.
Today we lost because of disruption with team selection through injuries, a decent team who people are already starting to forget tore us to bits at times during the first half. Some back luck, poor reffing and we actually lost to the better side. MM said so so that's good enough for me.

Been saying this for a while. The young girls lack of awareness today didn't help the flow of the game at all, add to that a really annoying whistle happy referee. With Bristol scoring early it very much played into there hands. Surely ballboys and girls should be told what there job is and what is expected of them, and to watch the flaming game, not playing on there phone like the girl near us today that completely missed the fact the ball was 5 yards away from her and needing retrieving. The programme tells you each game who is supplying the ball boys/girls. Yesterday was very noticeable how slow they were or even unaware. It does affect the game and is an issue which the club might wish to address. |  |

If they can get under the opponent’s skin, for example by being slow to return the ball, then great. So we lost yesterday because of the ball boys ( that were girls actually but that's even worse surely?)
Not because of 2 deflected goals, poor marking for the other, some missed chances, a team who played well first half, a ref who was nog the best. Etc etc
The ball boys / girls were not up to scratch.
