Ainsley Joins Histon
Friday, 19th Nov 2010 16:28

Defender Jack Ainsley has joined Blue Square Bet Premier side Histon on a month's loan.

Ainsley, who goes straight into the Stutes' squad for their game at Luton on Saturday, has made two appearances for the Blues this season, at Middlesbrough on the opening day and at Exeter in the Carling Cup.

The 21-year-old former academy scholar signed a new one-year deal with the Blues in the summer.

I'm surprised he's gone actually. I thought he looked useful against Spurs. Good he's gone for experience though.

Feel sorry for him as not really had the chance to settle in at RB, now further down the pecking order with even CB's being preferred

Will get game time in a competitive environment which is not available to our reserves on a regular basis . He looked good against Spurs so should be encouraged to harden up in the lower level . Good luck to him !

wouldnt of minded seeing the lad given a chance in the league cup this year - and whats happened to O'conner all of a sudden? oconner did good job last year at left back...and he can get forward...madness!

All it is going to do is give the lad more match time, which is what he needs.

Better Full-back than Eastman though. Pick the bones out of that one!

It's been clear we've needed a right back since we lost rosenior and the reliable David Wright but Keane said we didn't need a right back as we have Ainsley and Peters and now both of them are the back ups to an inexperienced centre back in that position, once again clueless by keane!
