Apparently they've spent £350M a week putting it together and advertising it on a bus.

Surely, even if it was written on he side of a bus, no-one could be so daft as to be swayed by claims of £350M a week spending?

Actually, it's the fault of a succession of governments, and an unwillingness to fairly share the benefits of prosperity and the costs of austerity. The less well educated and the old (especially in the regions) don't appear to have gained much or will gain much from closer ties and trade with Europe. Foolish to expect that people will see benefits that don't apply to them.

I'm not sure you have to be particularly skilled to put one over on Dave, Hunt and Gideon.

Combination of a slow Real News Day, a decent performance at the weekend and the Adverts and Rugby With Armour Festival on late last night keeping some quiet, I reckon.

Glad to help. Of course the stupid ones blame the immigrants. Or if they're in government change their rhetoric and policies to blame that symptom rather than taking any responsibility for the underlying cause.

Your last sentence is right, but is it too much to ask that people actually put the blame for that where it in reality lies (that is, in policy decisions over the last 30 years by successive *domestic* governments) rather than the convenient bogeyman of the European Union?
Who would had thought it on 14:02 - Feb 6 with 2143 views | Waterfootblue | I might well fit the age criteria, and perhaps border line on the education criteria. But not quite thick enough to fall for the guff on the little red bus. Very much a REMAINER, or as it is fashionable to say a remoaner. Europe is a much better place than at the beginning of my lifetime, "better together".

That's a tad presumptuous seeing as we have not left yet. Keeping up becomes much harder in advancing years, should you be fortunate enough to live long enough, you will no doubt discover that.
