Hopefully they will report them.

There should be a Fixed Penalty Notice system in place for that kind of trolling. That would stamp a lot of it out.

It is heartbreaking.

He is probably the most famous little boy in this Country but knowing that he is on borrowed time must be traumatic beyond imagination for his family.

I do wonder where we're heading sometimes. There seem to be some incredibly thick, classless, rude, clueless, insensitive b@stards out there. Lots of them too.

Is it too difficult to be polite, considerate and sympathetic?

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

I'm not sure if it's trolling or just stupidity. At least I hope it's stupidity. There are some extremely thick people about.

Poll: Be honest, how many times have you played the clip of Noel Hunt's goal?

Trolling is in itself the height of stupidity.

Poor little lad. Was such a great story seeing him meet all his heroes throughout his fight, but sadly it's coming to such a horrible end. Feel desperately sorry for him and his family, and for that matter for any other families going through similar heartache. Just hope they can make his last few days as pain free as possible.

I don't want to sound like I'm making light of the situation but I feel bad for him being a Sunderland fan, the last season of football he will see was that sorry shower of sh!t getting relegated without a whimper.

It is good to see how football had rallied round the poor little fella, he may not have seen his team win many but he's has had some good days out, Everton and their fans deserve credit, donated 200 grand and gave him a heroes' welcome http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-39092656
Jermaine Defoe deserves a lot of credit too.
