Anyone at Ally Pally tonight... on 12:46 - Sep 24 by brogansnose
Immense is the word, completely and utterly immense. Has to to one of my best gigs ever.
Just as a little taster;
Ah, that’s really brought it all back again.
To come away massively satisfied, even though they didn’t do Daft Punk...., North American Scum and Disco Infiltrator (three of my favourites) says volumes about how brilliant they are.
Never really got into LCD Soundsystem, but often like their tunes when I hear them on the radio. What would you recommend as a good place to start please? Other than 'Best of LCD Soundsystem' of course.

Wish I had gone to this. Great band. Also them The Strokes and New Order continue to prove you dont need a frontman who can sing to be a great band.
In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
Gutted I missed out as their new album is something pretty special and has made me re visit their previous albums and play them pretty much non stop for the past month.
I saw them at Bestival in 2010 (which was supposed to be their last UK show i believe) I distinctly remember being absolutely shattered but determined to go and watch them and remember getting pretty emotional when they played "Someone Great" possibly partly due to the exhaustion but that set was one of best things I've ever seen at any festival and remember walking out of the tent on such a high that night.

I continue to live in hope that they’ll play Latitude one year. They are the prefect Latitude act imo and it would be great to see them live in Suffolk.

Have to agree.Coming out of Ally Pally on Saturday night felt like I did after the Bolton play off game (the one we won ,not the other one)
