Two experimental teams provided a reasonable game.
England looked OK in the 1st half although there were some strange things - theOx looked good from the K.O. than faded. Englands penetration into the box wasn't good but the build up play & passing was.

I strongly suspect this is another case of the classic 'England looking ok when it doesn't matter'. It happens all the time. But obviously I hope they do well in the summer where the real acid test will be. I've no idea what the expectation should be though. Getting to the quarters will be as much as we can expect.
