It’s 0 changes. Wembley stadium is the national rail station but the Met Line goes to Wembley Park which is just as good

Yes

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

Met Line direct to Wembley Park then a 10 minute walk. BUT. At Liverpool St, make you you get on the right tube train. Don't get a Circle or Hammersmith train - which go from the same platform as the Met Line. You need a Watford or Uxbridge or Chesham or Amersham train it takes about 30 mins on the tube plus 10-20 minute walk, depending which side of Wembley stadium you are aiming for

Or you could, if you want to be different, get off at Stratford and take the overground changing at Willesden.

Or take the jubilee line to Wembley Park from Stratford, takes about 40 mins but is direct.

I live close to Stratford and would recommend the Jubilee Line route from Stratford to Wembley Park. As the previous poster wrote, it is a direct journey and takes around 45 minutes.

Of all the stations that service Wembley Stadium, Wembley Park is the nearest; it's about 8-10 minutes walk to the stadium.

Be aware when you leave Wembley Park station, there are 40-something steps to negotiate. (My youngest counts them every time we go, from memory it's close to 4 banks of 11 steps per bank).

Stratford is in Zone 3 and Wembley Park is in Zone 4.

HTH, please give me a shout or PM if you have any questions.

All the best!
