On Ipswich Star's coverage of Michael Crowe et al being released... on 06:56 - May 18 with 1533 views | christiand | Ipswich, along with 'ALL' other clubs across the land, have to make tough decisions about their young professionals each season. Sometimes these decisions do slap you in the face - look at Nick Pope now in England's World Cup squad. Nevertheless, they have to make a call on that player's future at that point in time in their career. The club don't feel Crowe is good enough at the moment, but that doesn't mean that his career is over. No disrespect to Ipswich, but I hope he goes away, joins another side and starts to show his potential (which he must have to reach the level he has). Such a tough and ruthless career, hope he proves the club wrong over time - that's the best way to overcome this disappointment. | |
