If points how many? It's not ideal, but this guy needs to slow down so hopefully he gets a, big, kick up the arris

47 in a 30 on 14:15 - Jun 11 by jeera | Copied from an article: "These charges are calculated on a percentage basis. A minor offence constitutes a band A charge. Band A charges are for drivers who exceed the stated speed limit between one and 10mph. So, if a driver travels 31mph up to 40mph in a 30mph zone, they can be charged between 25 per cent and 75 per cent of their weekly income. Drivers who exceed the stated speed limit by 11mph up to 20mph will be charged between 75 per cent and 125 per cent of their wage." Also, "In addition to the variable fee motorists could land themselves with a driving offence of this nature, they could also receive between three and six penalty points. " It also goes on to say that in some cases 1st time offenders may be offered the awareness course, but at over half the limit again though I'd be surprised. |
I got a speed awareness course a couple of Saturdays ago.

I'm not responsible for the article of course. Feel free to shine some light on the workings though.
