Anyone else get their Glasto tickets?..... on 14:04 - Oct 8 by ITFC_Forever | The Levs fan page on FB has many people saying how good it was, with a slightly more eclectic set-list than usual to mix it up a bit - also looked like a pretty tiny venue! Looking forward to the UEA in November. Really should get Beautiful Days sorted out one of these, er, days. |
And here's 2019's line-up.... https://www.beautifuldays.org/lineup/ Edit: That actually looks suspiciously like the 2018 line-up.... I think they have re-titled the page, but not deleted the 2018 acts. [Post edited 8 Oct 2018 14:12]

Anyone else get their Glasto tickets?..... on 22:16 - Oct 7 by BanksterDebtSlave | It really wasn't cool then either ! The only cool way to enter is after an invigorating riot in a remote part of Wiltshire followed by a rapid drive in multiple buses etc straight through the back gates about 10 years previously......def info! Jah Glastafarii Edit....would only consider going now if Ed was playing ! [Post edited 7 Oct 2018 22:19]

Didnt miss one all through the late 80s and 90s but it went downhill for me first after the travellers riot which resulted in them not getting their free entry anymore. Then went even further downhill when they put up the super fence which stopped all the interesting people from entering. Last went in 2002 and seemed tame and commercial compared to the lawlessness of the previous decade but I guess thats probably a good thing but the edge had gone for me. The fence had to go up though else the festival would be no more as over 200,000 people hopped over in 2000 and it was a miracle noone was crushed to death when moving between stages. Most probably is still a great festival if all rather safe and pleasant just not for me anymore. [Post edited 8 Oct 2018 14:37]

Anyone else get their Glasto tickets?..... on 15:45 - Oct 8 with 1216 views | BlueinBrum | Having failed miserably to get anywhere getting coach package tickets on thurs (from work computer in London) I then failed miserably to get anywhere on Sunday morning from south Holland on my iPad, where I was over the weekend. Luckily for me, a mate who was in my group woke up at 9.06 in SE London having been out til 5am, refreshed his phone a grand total of 4 times and got straight through! So I’m not sure what that tells us other than that luck is a majority factor! Either way, see you there!

Anyone else get their Glasto tickets?..... on 11:30 - Oct 7 by Herbivore | I went in '97 and '00, back when it was still cool. The mud in '97 was something else. Glasto is massively commercial now and modern music is mostly awful so I have no great interest in going again. |
Oh Herbivore you are a one... I’ve been going to Glastonbury since 1990.. around 92 it was in a bad state - although it was great as you could get in for free through the weak fence, and it had the spiral tribe thing going on - it was lawless and a bit too edgy. I’d say last 2 years have been some of the best. Ignore the headliners, ignore the commercialisation which is relatively limited, and it is still completely unique and unmatched. It’s still just the best atmosphere and energy, and it restores ones faith in your fellow man, in these dumb times. As for the music, I think this is a great period for choons.

So if you ignore who is playing and how commercial it's become then it's great? Cool, sounds awesome. I'm only messing with you anyway pal, have a great time. I've not really got the festival vibe anymore. [Post edited 9 Oct 2018 8:01]

Anyone else get their Glasto tickets?..... on 13:52 - Oct 9 with 1034 views | King_ding_a_lin_g | For many years I tried using my computer and also at the same time using my phone on 3G/4G. Noticed that every year I got through on 3G/4G but never using Wifi. Maybe someone out there can explain why this is... it but since then I always use my phone, turn off Wifi, and I've never failed to get a pair for me and the missus.
