Lets say Bruce / Big Sam did get the job and stayed a while after.

I happen to think both of them would keep us up.

Sure, I'm not a fan of Big Sam with various things, Bruce has Norwich connections.

However, what I'd like to know is if they played hoof ball which they would etc...... would people still refer to them as ' dinosaur ' and all that ?

Don't think we need to worry about them - neither likely to be interested.
More likely the best we would get a second rate dinosaur like Grayson.........

which is why appointing Burley makes so much sense....

I cant see hoofball with Sears or Jackson getting us out of this.
Whoever is in charge needs proper financial backing and that doesn't happen.

People still referring to MM as a dinosaur are clearly a bit thick.

As for Bruce having 'Norwich connections' only the biggest idiots will care.

Truly impaired.

True - but I don't think we need to worry about either Mick or Bruce now anyway.......
people thinking Bruce will take the Town job are deluded anyway.

If ME pulls the plug on this project now, he's going to have to spend big in January to get some decent quality in (as well as pay compo and possibly pay one or 2 players off, or at least ship out the door on the cheap).

Which is possibly why he won't pull the plug at all.

Glad I'm not in his shoes having to make a decision (with a history of ad decisions already behind him).

That sadly - whether people this or not - is very true and a major issue.

We cannot even just do absolute AV IT / win a 5050 / cause chaos.

We don't even have that in the squad to try.

You would think people would have noticed we have fallen off a cliff since Dino MM and his historic style of football were kicked into touch.

Viva the high press, sports science and errrr relegation.

The only Muff in Town.

I don't think PH has the first idea about the 'high press' If he thinks we did that against QPR he's even more clueless than I give him credit for.
I don't think a term has been invented for the type of dross his team are producing at the moment.

I think the high press might have been in the pre match warm up.

I think once Harrison is fit again that's a job he could do, if long-ball is the road we choose to go down.

I survived Ipswich 0-0 Burton

FFS, Harrison a ‘target man’.? I think there’s more chance of PH turning it round

While I'm not a fan of it, we don't even have it to try at Leeds tomorrow due to the lack of a focal point as a 9 if we wanted to!

Harrison won't be back for a while so we're snookered with Hurst's total football.

While not Murphy or even Garner-esque, he's a big lad who's clearly quite physical and not bad in the air. Not that I actually like hoofball, it's just a suggestion to Currie's previous post, I'd personally prefer us to try and develop an actual footballing side.

Problem with what you'd prefer is we don't have the players to do it with the tempo required.

It's absolutely pointless with this lot attempting it.
