Certainly something there given it was seen by 3 separate airline pilots.

Secret military plane no doubt, let's not forget it's been 50 years since the Blackbird and nearly 40 years since stealth and the US haven't mentioned another black project since. Technology doesn't stand still when you are chucking the amount of money at it that the US does.

Doesn't make any sense if taken in conjunction with the 3 pilots reports. They said it accelerated away to the north, a different vector.

That's impossible for something moving under gravity.

They could be mistaken of course, but pilots are probably about the best people out there at gauging 3 dimensional movement.
